Tacos, Birds and Nature in the RGV

The Rio Grande Valley of Texas is well known for its birdwatching opportunities. We are among the most desired birding destinations in the World!

I’d like to share my latest story I posted yesterday on my La Vida Valle blog where I write about life in the Rio Grande Valley on the border with Mexico.

We have some unique spaces here and Sabal Palm Sanctuary is not only historically significant, but today, because of the border wall, it is on a sort of limbo – a no-man’s-land or sorts. Between the Rio Grande River and the border wall.
